know that Buckbeak has been rescued?

I think that this is how he knew what to do when harry and hermione woke up...he already knew how to solve the problem, and then when he spoke to Sirius, he put two and two together and raced down to the infirmary to speak to Harry and Hermione, and send them off to do their job...he already knew that they would succeed at half of it. He had already ruled out Hagrid saving Buckbeak, and so who were the next best candidates...our favorite trio, of course, who had already been out roaming the night! However, he had to be very careful not to suggest anything to them that might send them off course.
