Hi Rose,
I had to re-read this a few times. The clue is correct...it is just poorly phrased. It means that the five characteristics named each belong to one teacher...each teacher only has one characteristic. Another way to put it is this:
'One teacher is the head of Hufflepuff, another is the 1305 graduate, another is the Potions professor, another is Professor Tonilla and another is the one who graduated in 1314.'
Hope this makes it clearer.

Am I the only one that doesn't think this makes sense? Is this hint a
mistake, or part of the puzzle? If it is a mistake, could Joywitch send us
