Why did we start reading the books?

I don't exactly have a cool story...I'm sorry.  However, I first was 
exposed to HP because of my 8 year old cousin Johnny and my 12 year 
old cousin Megan last summer.  They tried to make me read them and I 
just refused to read what was a "children's book".  So then came 
March 19, 2001.  I was going to a friend's birthday party and had to 
travel on a bus for about 1 1/2 hours.  I was traveling with my 
friends, Meg Rose, Porkmaster/Overlord, Trees, and Maureen.  Meg Rose 
decided to start reading us Book One (much to my relucting 
acceptance).  I was so interresting that we continued reading it in 
the middle of the mall we went to!  Since then, we have all had 
intricate discussions which includes Hermione's time-turner, the 
pronouncing of certain names in the books, our favorite characters, 
amung (sp?) other things.
