Why did we start reading the books? Harry Potter saved me!

Wow! My story is kind of boring compared to some of yours.
My best online friend, Nan, from Netherlands, told me about the Harry 
Potter books ... DAILY! She kept trying to talk me into reading them. 
I kept making excuses, hoping she would give up trying.

Then, we were in Barnes & Nobles ... the paperbacks were pretty 
cheap.. so I bought SS & CS. Well, I read those in about two nights. 
I couldn't find PA in paperback, so I bought it in hardcover. 

Now, GF was a different matter. By the time I got to it, I could not 
find it in paperback OR hardcover. The copy that I thought would just 
sit there waiting for me at K-Mart had been sold. So, I went to the 
library. Theirs were all checked out! Someone told me that they had 
them at another store in town, but when I got there, I discovered 
that I didn't have enough cash for it or my checkbook. So, I zoomed 
into the place I work and borrowed the rest of the money. 

Now, I am hooked on Harry Potter and friends! My room looks like 
Hallmark exploded in it... or so my son says. He also thinks it is 
nice that I have a hobby. *smile*
