Tell us more--how did that happen?
All of this how-people-of-various-Houses/personalities-might-fall-into-evil
has my mind turning to the Potters. In PS/SS 4 (it is frankly scary that I
can cite that without checking), Hagrid says right out that it was odd
Voldemort never tried to get James and Lily on his side before, and that he
might have come to their house on Halloween 1981 to do just that. Hagrid is
frequently wrong, and it's an idea that never surfaces again, but I wonder
if it's going to prove to be key. *Did* V try to win them over, then or
earlier?

And what about *Wizard* Part-Humans? Are vampires who are wizards
automatically slated for better treatment? Or are they perhaps *less*
protected than Muggle vampires, and vampire hunters can legally hunt them?
I do love spinning the Snape-is-a-vampire theory, and the many bits about
vampires throughout the books make me think and hope that we're going to
meet one sooner or later, but I actually hope it isn't Snape. We've already
been there, done that with Lupin, and to a lesser extent, with Hagrid. If
another teacher turns out to be part-human, part-scary-creature, I'm going
to yawn. Got Polyjuice, anyone? There's an unregistered Animagus over here
who's thirsty.

and Dudley, then raised its eyes to the ceiling.
It gave Harry a look that said quite plainly:
"=I get that all the time.="
