Anyway, I'm afraid it's not talent, but common sense that makes us 
foreigners read JKR's works in English. First, translations do not 
appear fast (in fact, Polish GoF translation will be released in 
September) - and can you expect a HP addict to wait *this* long? 
Besides, the translations may be worse than the real thing. For 
example: in original version of Cos, Ron says: "He [Lockhart] will 
sign anything that stands still long enough", but in Polish 
translation it is something like: "He'll sign anything you ask him to 
sign" Not exactly the same thing, mmm?
