Avada Kedavra effects on Vampires (and ghosts)

Nick is not impervious to damage, as he was affected by the Basilisk in CoS
(see quote, below).   Since he's already dead, we could speculate that Avada
Kedavra would at least incapacitate him, but, as it is the Killing Curse, my
guess is that it would wipe him out altogether.  Ghosts are disembodied
spirits - perhaps AK would destroy the spirit?

As for vampires, anything defined as 'undead' or 'living dead', has some
sort of life, or it would be just...um, dead.  AK sounds a pretty final sort
of curse to me, i.e. if you had a bit of life left in you, it would take it.
