ok...really, guys, what's with all the movie hostility?  You might not want 
to see it for personal reasons, but the trailers look great, the kids look 
great, the screenwriter is phenomenal...some of the best people in the 
industry are working on this film, and all of them are under Rowling's close 
supervision.  Though I was originally very much against the whole film 
adaption idea, everything I've seen and heard so far promises that the Harry 
Potter movie will be acceptable at the very least, and very likely 
excellent.

I'm sorry...it's just that, being a film student myself, it bothers me a bit 
to see the craft unfairly judged.  Not all adaptions are bad.  I just 
watches the Princess Bride today, and was reminded of how much fun those 
sort of movies can be.
