I shared a textbook with my college roommate for half a semester (she 
left her book at her home during a weekend visit and her mom couldn't 
find it). Even though we worked out a schedule it was still very 
inconvenient (not to mention how she sometimes 'forgot' it wasn't 
hers and went crazy with her highlighter). From my experience sharing 
with one person, sharing with two other people would have been a 
total nightmare.
