Hi all!  I'm delurking again.  Adam's original comment is at the 
bottom.  I don't have PS with me right now, but I'm pretty sure that 
the sign at Ollivander's says something like "Makers of fine wands 
since 382 BC" or something along those lines.  In my mind, what this 
meant was that his *family* had been making wands since then, not him 
personally.  Kinda like Ford saying they've been making cars since 
whenever, even though Ford himself is long gone.  Someone feel free 
to correct me if I'm wrong.
