Anita, you are not alone! Part of the problem is that those people
who started reading HP from the first book, were treated to a new
book each year. The rest of us had even more immediate gratification,
in that, as soon as we finished one book, we could move right onto
the next and the next and the next.... but then ... CRASH!!! No more
books ... so we turned to the internet to gain information about JKR
and her next book. Then we found this discussion group that just
covers any topic about HP that two thousand people can conjure up.
Not to mention all the informational websites, fun websites, and
websites like Steve Vander Ark's beloved Lexicon. (pardon the obvious
plug for the Lexicon ... hee hee ... but DO go see what Steve has
done with it! )

Eventually, though, we got anxious ... no book til next year ... no
movie til November ... then came the trailer ... YAY ... then about
the time that got old ... another trailer ... YAY ... now it is only
four months until the movie... YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY
Then, hopefully, with the movie being successful, JKR will turn her
attention back to the real fans ... the ones who read the books.

I am not so sure whether I am actually bored with HP or just
frustrated with the waiting.

Doreen, who thought she would get away from HP by playing in Ebay ...
and only ended up buying HP bookends, ornaments, and a few plush
animals. :)
