No it wouldn't. You can't spin a pelt into anything; it's a whole animal
skin. It's the unprocessed version of a bearskin rug or one of those
zebra skins you hang on the wall--it's a SKIN. "Pelt" means it still has
the hair on it. You spin hair or fur.
