Slytherin. It just so happens that the guiding trait which Slytherin
members share is one which does more readily lend itself to slipping
down the path than that of the other houses. In many cases, though,
ambition or a drive for greatness lead to *great* things; it has to do
with the rest of the personality that's attached. It just so happens
that the Slytherins whom we know anything about are all snots. If we all
knew nothing about non-magical Muggle children, and had to extrapolate
from Dudley, Piers, et al, would we be concluding that all of them are
overbearing nasty sorts?
