My take on Neville's thoughts:  "No matter what everyone's going to be
disappointed again.  I don't think I'm brave enough for Gryffindor but
Gram really wants me to be one.  Uncle Algie thinks Slytherin would
help me more but Gram said no.  Besides, that ghost over there is
awfully scary-looking.  I *know* I'm not smart enough for Ravenclaw but
Aunt Enid wants me there because *she* got 15 O.W.L.s.  Uncle Ernie
said Hufflepuff is best but Gram said he got expelled and I shouldn't
listen to him.  Uncle Oscar...."
