Mr Abanes was indeed on this list, around the middle of April. The 
discussions became rather heated.

The messages start around no 17513 and continue until 17649 when it 
was asked that the discussion be taken off list. This is because the 
discussion had degenerated to nastiness on both sides. (I, for one, 
felt quite ill.)

I'm not against a reasoned debate, but I would hate a repeat of the 
April discussion - the "atmosphere" of the list was terrible and I 
was relieved when it was over. 

If we must do it again, whether we agree with Mr Abanes or not, 
please could we do it without the personal remarks.
