I just finished reading the first chapter of the second part of the

I did learn about Satanism. One thing I would like to mention about
Mr. Abanes is he does leave out the things it seems he does not want
people reading his book to realize. Things like the fact that for
the most part, Pagans do not believe in Satan (or any other
embodiment of evil). He seems to have lumped us all together.
A question for Christians and Pagans alike, do you feel that the HP
series makes people do bad things? Do you tink people really are
more likely to become involved with a "cult" after reading HP?
Michelle :)
In response to her question asking if do we feel that the HP books make people do bad things? Do you think people really are more likely to become involved with a "cult" after reading HP?
I do not think that HP books make people do bad things at all,if someone is going to go out and do horrible things, they are going to do them regardless of a book, What would the HP books cause someone to do? Become interested in Witchcraft....once they find out that you can't actually cause light to shoot out the end of a wand they they will become disinterested....and even if they did become interested in Paganism as a result what is wrong with that. Is it not a good thing in this world to become interested in other religions, if Christians are worried in people converting over a book then they must not have much faith in the validity of they religion. And also every religion is a cult until it's membership increases, christanity was considered a cult in the beginning and paganism is much older then christanity. Also it is not organized, that is one if the things I like about paganism, no one dictates your faith only you and the god and goddess.
