No, I don't think it has. However, Dumbledore vouched for Snape at Karkaroff's trial, where plenty of wizards were present. It's likely that Voldemort has heard of this by the time of his rebirthing: Bertha Jorkins may have known of it for one. Moody, who was there, may (under imperius) have told Barty Crouch Jr, who was in contact with V (the eagle owl in Harry's dream: V knows BC Sr is dead). V may however think that Snape is still really loyal to him, or have other reasons for not mentioning him, such as thinking he can be tempted back when the time is right.

I have said before, I hope Snape doesn't go back to being a spy - I want his task to be something completely different, perhaps to do with Azkaban. My reasoning being that Dumbledore has told Fudge 2 things: talk to the giants; remove Azkaban from dementors. When Fudge refuses, Hagrid and Maxime are, one assumes, sent on an embassy to the giants. The other task then falls to Snape. Of course, if you like the Snape-as-vampire thing, then more possibilities arise.

David, clearly a failure as he still hasn't bumped off his Dad after all these years
