Not if he flew by Charmed!"Umbrella"...


(and to make this more than a 1-liner...)
We've seen that things can be charmed to be other than what we muggles think
they are. If one can charm a car to fly, why not charm an umbrella to fly in
the same way? 
QTTA also says that wizards & witches could've charmed other things to fly,
but the ease of hiding a broomstick made that the most reasonable thing to
use.
