Yes, yes, I realise that. But I assumed that the memory charm would cover a range of incidents that Neville got to witness or know of because of his parents' work. As aurors' they wouldn't be able keep the job in the office. However, Neville is at most about eleven months older than Harry, so I guess he would in fact have very little memory of Snape as a DE. Of course Snape could, on this hypothesis, be just rattling Neville's cage generally, rather than aiming to trigger a specific hidden memory.
I don't really believe it personally.
