It sounds quite plausible to me. I agree that Voldy
wanted to kill Harry because it was predicted that
Harry would be the one to defeat him. The idea of
Harry being a seer is new to me, and interesting.
It's probably important that Harry is taking
divination, and not something more "useful" like
arithmancy. Although divination class has proved
useful (comic relief, dreams, trelawney's second
prediction), there is probably a more important reason
that so much time in the books is spent there, much
more than, say, charms. For the most part, divination
is passed off as a joke, but maybe there is more to it
than we realize.
