theory I particularly like.
You know- Dumbledore- always seems to know what is going on but lets
things happen and does things that to me indicates he has some
foreknowledge as well- like placing the Mirror of Erised where Harry
could find it then leaving it their until Harry figures out what it
does- then he tells Harry he will not find it agian and to not bother
looking.
I always get this Merlin feeling with Dumbledore- you know how Merlin
knows what is going to happen because he has already been there- and
just knows that you can't change the big things but can manipulate
them a little by changing the little things-
Dumbledore is never suprised about things the kids do- I think he is
always aware of everything and intervenes only when he thinks it
necessary to intervene- and then only after the kids have a chance to
do what they are trying and either fail or succeed.
Dumbledore has a lot more powers than we have seen- he just doesn't
use them-
