Okay, so I've heard all about this "shipper" stuff from before I
joined this group, but what surprised me about this post is reference
to people thinking they had EVIDENCE for H/H. What evidence is there?
I'm not trying to sound rude, I'm just curious. I would have said
there really wasn't any evidence for the H/H side and most people on
it just liked the idea and thought it fit. There's pretty scant
evidence for any "ship" really, except in GOF for R/H. So what is
this alleged evidence? Does someone have a specific message
number they could refer me to?
For the record, I am a non-shipper where the books are concerned. I
don't care who has a short-term relationship in school, because that's
all it would be. And I don't really think there should be a lasting
relationship because they're not going to be old enough before the
series is over (I think I'm allowed to say this without being
condescending since I'm only 19 myself). If any of them are 'life
partners', I don't think they ought to come to that conclusion in the
course of the books. And of course, we wouldn't hear about it if any
of them hooked up or got married after school. Except outside of
canon with fanfiction like PoU.
