Yeah, I love 'em (although I missed the commercial).

Well, actually, Troll Booger Glue is an actual bottle of glue, with a
troll head festooned with Harry as the lid. The whole head rotates to
open the bottle, with a standard Elmer's-glue type mechanism, and the
glue comes out a nostril. It was so absolutely revolting that I bought
one.

Well, it all *costs* a little much. Seriously, though, I got backpacks
for the kids at the WB store when they were half-price (I thought
Kasia's year of using my old, 20-year-old college backpack was enough,
and she should have her own, and Tomek's was getting ratty too). I got
her two spiral notebooks (Gryffindor & Bertie Botts, although they have
Hedwig and generic Quidditch players, too). I got her the little set
with the zipper bag, the little ruler with the broomstick & snitch
stencil, and the snitch pencil sharpener. I got her the magic markers
that change to their cap colors when you color over them with the "magic
wand" marker (and they *work*, by the way--cool effects can be
achieved). I got her a Hermione picture frame because she can say
"Hermione." *And* I got her a bottle of the glitter-glue, that comes in
the little cauldron-shaped jar.

Sad part is, I *had* to have a snitch pencil sharpener of my own, so I
got a zipper bag set for me, too....and a snitch weekly write-on
wipe-off board.

All of this was in the school supply aisle at H.E.B. There *were* things
I didn't get. I did not get the desk set, which didn't show me much
(main attraction was a pad cover with a picture of Hogwarts on it). And
some other stuff.

I think it is getting a bit over the top. It amazes me how the
merchandise doesn't seem to have a median range--it's either total trash
or really cool. [Speaking of which, has anyone reviewed the "chapter
games"? I've seen them in Target.]

I am *trying*, despite all the evidence presented above to the contrary,
to show a bit of restraint. I got the cool stuff, and the things she
could use at school, or the things I could take to work (every office
needs an oddball, I'm doing a community service).

Anyway. I want a Harry Potter light-up pen, and I haven't seen those
anywhere. Pooey.
