What is the usual *wait* for a movie trailer that is seen in the 
previews?

Maybe I just don't see enough movies, but I do not ever remember 
seeing previews for movies that were not coming out for over five 
months. 

While we are on the subject of trailers ... why is something that is 
seen as a preview ... before the main feature ... called a trailer? 
This would make more sense if it were shown *trailing* the movie.
