I'm sorry but, that would not get him taken away in the US. Not feeding him
would but even could soup is food, and that is all the law requires. I know
it sounds horrible but I have seen worse things pass a social services
investigation. I once only had rotten apples and they didn't do a damn
thing against my mother when they came to investigate.
