'Me Too' to everything snipped. However, I think that a large part,
if not most, of the reaction of people generally was that Hermione
had landed Krum. Viktor, of course, gets his just reward for
noticing Hermione is a girl *before* her makeover.
Draco is a different matter, and we await developments with
interest. He is strangely silent, not just at the time but also
later when people tease Hermione about being Krum's sorely-missed one.
Although the transformation thing is a literary (and Hollywood)
cliche, it has happened to me in real life enough to find it
believable.
David, who used to feel insecure at school when people had their hair
cut, in case they'd changed inside.
