The only wands we have seen Sirius use are Ron's and Snape's in PoA.
So, he doesn't have his own wand. Am I remembering correctly that
Azkaban prisoners have their wands broken, or is that a fanon idea?
As a Sirius fan, this is a matter of some concern to me. A wizard
without a wand is sort of like a gunslinger without a six-shooter.
Well, that's probably an exaggeration, but a wand certainly lets you
focus your magical abilities. And it would come in handy if you
needed to protect yourself from the odd Death Eater you may run
into. Add to that the widening circle of people who know that Sirius
can transform into a big, black dog, and I'd say he's running some
risks out there in the world.
