Yes, there have been pics of the actor playing Dean Thomas.  His name 
is Alfred "Alfie" Lewis Enoch; he's the son of English actor William 
Russell and a Brazilian doctor.  You can see his pics at the HP 
Galleries at www.hpgalleries.com.  (I think you can also catch a 
glimpse of Dean in the movie trailer.)

an English "white-like-milk" actor, Alfie, (as he's called), was born 
in London and studies in an English school - though he's already 
spending lots of time in Salvador. He only has two places in the 
movie where he speaks but appears with Harry and his gang throughout 
much of the movie."
