Hi, Steve,

great post, but, er, I think we're not allowed to talk about WWII and 
HP due to past unpleasantness on the list (which predates me as well 
as you). I can certainly see why it would raise people's hackles. But 
generically speaking, yes, I think it's not hard to imagine 
Dumbledore as a resistance fighter in his day, and given what we've 
seen of JKR's economy as a writer, I can easily imagine that, having 
been mentioned so specifically, Grunwald and Dumbledore's past 
heroics in general will resurface later. 

~Rosmerta, who also read HP to her 7-yr-old and now understands a 
little better why that's legally considered "the age of reason."
