I just discovered this board and I am so excited!  I teach 6th grade 
and I have taught the first book the last two years.(you would not 
believe lessons that can be developed from this book!)   My students 
enjoy it more than anything else we do all year.  I also read books 
2, 3 and this year, 4 out-loud to the students.  I am going to enjoy 
talking to some adults about this wonderful story.  My own 7 year old 
is having me read the first book to him every night.  I love Harry 
and am looking forward to sharing thoughts and ideas with each of you.
