--Not to mention the fact that by using the Cup as a portkey they 
would've been right there at Dumbledore, the other Hogwarts teacher's 
and the Minister of Magic just to name a few. 

Not to mention it would've been far more dramatic than popping into 
the loo and scaring a bunch of teenage boys taking showers... :-)
