A month ago, I would have said that the books did not indicate that 
McGonagall had the stature to replace Dumbledore..that was before I 
caught a glimpse of the movie and saw how the actress brought depth 
to the character... 

Although Ms. Rowlings has done the outline for the books, I don't 
think that she is impervious to being influenced by the film ...I 
think that the actress might add such depth to the character of 
Minerva McG that Ms. Rowlings  might change her mind..

I do agree that Dumbledore will die in the last book.....
