 I believe this has to do with a referrence Snape makes in one 
lesson - he says that they are from...*memory goes kaput* er, 
somewhere other than Japan. ^_^;; Anyway, Snape said they were from 
somewhere else, and they were making fun of him.

  I got the impresson that the whole HP-that-we-are-reading-about-
took-place-several-years-ago thing was not coming into play; in fact, 
I took the forwards/backs of books to indicate that Harry was a 
student at the time of publishing. So Dumbledore would not be dead 
then, and he still could die later. Of course, I don't like the whole 
thing about the books taking place in the past....why can't it be 
now? Grrr. Darn death day party.
