Moody/Crouch/Imperio Q Re: Chapter 34 Summary

Why did Crouch as Moody go out of his way to teach Harry how to resist 
the Imperio Curse?  Once you know that "Moody" is Crouch in disguise, 
you can see this lesson as an opportunity to show off the forbidden 
curses, but then why encourage Harry to learn to fight it off?  Ends up 
being a mistake, since Crouch made it possible for Harry to fight off 
Voldy.
