Has anyone any ideas why we don't see entries for 3-headed dogs or
Dementors in this book?  Please don't tell me dementors are 'beings'
"that is to say worth of legal rights and a voice in the governance of
the magical world".

Maybe 3-headed dogs are not monsters per say but rather a deformity of
nature, like the 2-headed calf.

I don't think Dementors are beasts. I think the term "beasts" is too good
for them. I think they are beyond human ... like spoiled or rotten human
leftovers that should have gone out with the trash.
