Mugblood vs. Mudblood?

Yeah, I wondered the same thing--I remember having to look in the 
books to see whether it was mug- or mud-.  There's something about his 
accent that adds g's--it happens a lot with words ending in "in," 
hence "Calling Creevey" and "Professor Looping."  Don't feel silly!
