Unfortunately, there are casualities in any war and very
unfortunately Dumbledore seems to me to be Most Likely to Perish. I
am preparing myself for a good cry when it happens; I just love the
barmy old codger.
Of course, this is all pure speculation. My predictions for what
would happen in GoF were totally wrong.

What if the hero of the day and the real casualty is Severus Snape? Then we
will all be struck by a bad case of the guilts for having misjudged and
maligned him for all these years. You know, I never liked snakes and thought
they looked slimey until I picked one up. The skin felt cool and smooth to
the touch. It was fascinating how the snake curled itself around and around
my arm. I was surprised how strong it was for such a small creature... and
how very unafraid it was. hmmmmmmmmmm
Doreen who thinks Snape, like snakes, grows on you when you least expect it
