Don't forget, Hermione's parents are not only both Muggles, they are both
dentists. Hermione tells us in GoF they don't read the Daily Prophet and,
remember, (in PofA I believe it was) Mr. Weasley, bless him, could hardly
wait to get them off to the the Leaky Cauldron so he could have a drink
and chat with real Muggles who were a lot nicer to him than the dratted
Dursleys!
