But did you all notice how many witches were mentioned in the
development of Quidditch? Loads. Perhaps JKR is responding to criticism
this way, by making them more obvious? It seemed like she was also
answering questions she'd been asked about broomsticks and travel
thereon. What a wonderful way to respond to questions and such! Charity
books. Vivat.
