My guess is Hermione doesn't believe she deserves a reward.  Although 
she found out the secret of the creature, she got nailed by it and 
wasn't able to get the information out where it would do any good -- 
and thus more bad things happened.

She'd have complained if she hadn't got petrified, had been awake and 
mobile,  and had been a bigger part of the takedown.
