Rita the Catlady and I were speculating as to the identity of the 
Bloody Baron, and I came up with the idea that he might be Bois-
Guilbert from Ivanhoe...not a Baron, but maybe it's just a nickname. 
Then of course Rebecca really was a witch after all.

Sample Bois-Guilbert line, having been asked what could be worth the
