Im glad to see that im not the only person that this bothered... Perhaps it 
was like Neville bouncing when his uncle dropped him out the window.  Harry 
just "bounced" on to the school.  I hope that it is just forshadowing 
though, like the Parsaltounge bit.  Speaking of which, what about how harry 
turned his teachers wig blue?  Would that be a bit of transfiguration?  I 
always thought that the powers that show up uncontrolled, before training 
would be the ones that were easyest to learn for the young witch or wizard.  
But Harry seems to be better at Defence against the Dark Arts rather that 
Transfiguration.
