I didn't notice this, but if summerschool is in session, then why
couldn't Riddle, or Harry stay over the summer?


 
       Exactly, Good question. I think that this was probably a typo in QTTA, 
but remember also that the dates in the cover were RETURN dates.. they could 
have checked them out toward the end of the year, and then had the standard 2 
months or whatever to return them.
