Hmm. I like that idea (and I'm sure Rita will like it even better!) A team
of carefully trained attack Kneazles on 24 hour prowl duty might be part of
what kept the Dursley's house a Death-Eater-free zone over the years.

But there must have been more to it, though. It'd be hard to characterize a
bunch of slinking Kneazles as ancient magic Dumbledore invoked "to ensure
the boy's protection as long as he is in his relations' care." And besides:
all Voldy would have had to do to get past them is sneak up with a
wheelbarrow full of catnip ...
