Percy and DADA

We've been discussing a lot lately the possibility that Percy may 
become a pawn of the dark side <g>.  It made me wonder how prepared he 
is for that possibility.
My train:
Gred and Forge are getting the same lessons from "Moody" as the Trio 
are - even though they're not in the same year - but Percy's not there 
for Moody's practical lessons.
Lupin -the year before (Percy's last year) - probably gave the 7th 
years whatever they needed, but would not have been able to make up for 
...
Lockhart - who probably taught all his classes the same way as he had 
no knowledge to give them and
Quirrell - who knew things about the DA, but only had the students 
doing book learning and was "afraid" of his own subject.

I don't think we know how long Quirrell was there, or the skill of his 
predecessor.  I guess I'm wondering if Percy would recognize the 
Imperio if someone tried to use it on him - and if he would know how to 
fight it if he did recognize it.
