It is interesting - especially in light of the controversy over canon-
Draco vs. fanfic Draco - to note the wide range of variability that 
the Greek tragedians demonstrated in portraying their characters. 
Compare, for example, the noble and heroically anguished Orestes of 
Aeschylus' Eumenides with the psychotic and sociopathic Orestes of 
Euripides (in the play of the same name).
