That's the general consensus, that Quirrel was next to Snape, and had his 
back turned towards Harry, which means that Voldie's 'face' was facing 
Harry. Remember Dumbledore's theory that Harry's scar hurts when Voldie is 
(a) close or (b) feeling a particular burst of hatred towards him. (Sorry, I 
can't find the page ref atm). At that point in time, both (a) and (b) were 
probably happening.
