That's a definite possibility. Perhaps she's just taught divination too long, 
and she's getting her wires crossed. However, I see her "black dog" 
predictions as being correct. A black dog *did* come into Harry's life, only 
it wasn't a Grim, it was his godfather. Maybe that goes along with what 
you're saying as well, that she did see the dog, but misunderstood what it 
was. 

The other "nit pick" I have has to do with Harry and Ron's star charts. How 
could she not know that they made everything up? Is she that dim? I thought 
it was pretty obvious.
