I think that you're right, Dumbledore is a bee.  People tend to go 
with thier names.  But, there's another possibility that has bothered 
me for a while.  In PS/SS, at the end of the Mirror of Erised (Ch. 
12) Harry realizes that Dumbledore is in the room, they talk for a 
minute about what Harry sees in the mirror and then Dumbledore 
says, "And it showed your friend Ron as Head Boy."
