Ah. You two are right about Harry. I overlooked those situations you mentioned when he went through rough spots, but I just don't generally go for the acclaimed hero in any story. It's just because it's basically a given that they'll come out on top. As examples to illustrate this, I liked Brock from Pokemon because he is overlooked, and I liked Hector from The Iliad because he, too, is overlooked and he's the under-dog, the tragic hero. Sorry for being so emotional. It's just not my nature to like the characters that are straight-forward and bound to win...Again, my humblest apologies for offending you.
